Kelly was born in a small town in Maine and grew up the middle child out of 3 girls. By age 4, she frequently dressed as her favorite childhood characters, putting on backyard performances for her relatives and neighbors. Standing in front of the lights, listening to the applause for her first dance recital, Kelly knew she was born to be a performer. Though she was very shy, she felt at home on stage. Early on she knew she wanted to be an Actor, but wasn't close to any major cities where she could begin taking classes. Finally, at 14, she spent a few weeks attending summer theater camp and was in her first play, The Wizard of Oz along with 'Max Shippee' (qv). From there, she was hooked. Blessed with supportive parents, Kelly was always told she could be whatever she wanted as long as she was happy. Her parents knew acting was her passion and didn't stop her from making that her major in college. She studied at Emerson College in Boston, MA where she graduated with a BFA in Acting. Then she was off to Los Angeles where she filmed _The Janitor (2003)_ (qv). Kelly continues to work in independent films and has recently finished filming the psychological thriller _Son of Terror (2008)_ (qv).
